Education Nationally accredited by CAAHEP and licensed in North Dakota and Minnesota, F-M Ambulance has trained thousands of people in emergency care courses. The courses we offer range from First-Aid and CPR up to a college level Paramedic School affiliated with the North Dakota State College of Science. We also offer ACLS, PALS, PHTLS, the BLAST Babysitting Day Camp and others. Ready Wheels The Ready Wheels division of F-M Ambulance offers local and regional transportation for people with mobility limitations. Typically our clients use Ready Wheels to get to non-emergency medical or dental appointments, or dialysis procedures, but we will take our clients nearly anywhere such as the mall, weddings, holiday gatherings, or recreational events. Nationally Accredited F-M Ambulance is the only accredited ambulance service in North Dakota and western Minnesota. Our team members are Nationally Registered Paramedics or EMTs, and licensed in North Dakota and Minnesota. They are required to complete 72 hours of continuing education every two years and are evaluated annually by our Medical Director. F-M Ambulance Service F-M Ambulance operates multiple business enterprises related to pre-hospital emergency care and medical transportation. Our primary mission is to provide advanced life support (ALS) ambulance services for the people of Cass County in North Dakota and Clay County in Minnesota. F-M Ambulance is licensed to operate as an ALS ambulance service by the states of North Dakota and Minnesota. We are the largest ambulance service in North Dakota as well as the only accredited ambulance service in North Dakota and one of two in Minnesota. Our main headquarters & administrative offices are located at 2215 South 18th Street in Fargo. All 9-1-1 calls in Cass and Clay County are answered at the Red River Regional Dispatch Center & relayed to us via radio or telephone. We have an in-house dispatch center that utilizes Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) software and coordinates emergency and non-emergency responses for F-M Ambulance and Ready Wheels. We also utilize system status management (SSM) to post our ambulances in strategic locations throughout our response area. We work closely with area first responders and law enforcement to deliver high-quality emergency care and treatment for the sick and injured. Many of our team members are involved in EMS not only by providing excellent patient care but also by serving on boards, committees, & organizations at the local, state, and national levels.
